Julien’s Auctions and East Continental Gems today announced that the Marvel Infinity Gauntlet replica — a one-of-one piece set with six exceptional gems, each representing one of the Infinity Stones — will be offered at auction. This December in Abu Dhabi, the 1-of-1 Infinity Gauntlet will be a headline lot of Julien’s Celebrity & Culture Experience during the Pop Culture Legends Evening Sale on December 8, 2026 at Rosewood Abu Dhabi on Al Maryah Island.

The Gauntlet was unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con in 2022 and offered for sale at $25 million. The launch and $25 million figure were covered at the time, as reported by various financial news outlets.

The Infinity Gauntlet is among the most recognized objects in modern popular culture, following decades of Marvel storytelling across Marvel Comics and Marvel Studios’ films. Until this creation, no one had offered a 1-of-1 recreation of the Infinity Gauntlet with valuable gems as the Infinity Stones.

The idea began in 2019, when East Continental Gems CEO Adam Mirzoeff spotted a toy Infinity Gauntlet on a senior Marvel executive’s desk and suggested, half in jest, that they make a real one.

Until this commission, the Gauntlet had never been realized as a fine collector object set with real gemstones — made once by agreement with Marvel and Disney. When it was unveiled, the collecting world took notice; this December, it will change hands for the first time.

To create it, Marvel granted East Continental Gems access to its layered design files behind the Infinity Gauntlet seen on screen. That access gave East Continental Gems the ability to painstakingly create a reproduction of the original film prop but with valuable gemstones. East Continental Gems, a family firm operating from the same New York office since 1972, thoughtfully translated the six Infinity Stones into their real-world counterparts. The Gauntlet stands nearly twenty inches tall, so each stone had to be large enough to have anchored a necklace of its own, and each had to read as the stone it represented.

Stones like these are the exception, not the rule. Nearly every gemstone on the market has been treated or enhanced; the six in this Gauntlet have not — brought together in a combination the market may not see again. Together they weigh more than 170 carats, brought together in a combination the market may not see again. Each is certified and authenticated by the American Gemological Laboratories, and the diamond carries additional documentation from the Gemological Institute of America.

The emerald representing the Time Stone was uncovered over a century ago and had been held in the East Continental Gems collection for more than thirty years — a stone the firm had long declined to sell — before being released for this commission.

“AGL has been closely involved with this project since its inception. As the gems passed through the Laboratory for analysis, I personally wanted to oversee their testing and reporting. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to see, analyze and authenticate natural gemstone of a calibre that few people ever are able to possess. In addition, as a seasoned Marvel comicbook fan - the characters and stories that molded the genre over the past several decades, to see such gems incorporated into one of Marvel's most heralded symbols and storylines merges two of my passions and in a way brought them full-circle. It truly has been one of the highlights of my gemological career to be involved with the ECG/Marvel Infinity Gems Gauntlet.” - Christopher P. Smith, President & Gemologist, American Gemological Laboratories

“Every so often, an object comes along that doesn’t fit neatly into any one category, and those are the ones that excite us. The Infinity Gauntlet is part fine jewelry, part tribute to the most celebrated saga in modern cinema, part cultural touchstone. Presenting it in Abu Dhabi, as part of Pop Culture Legends auction, gives it a stage worthy of what it is: a true 1-of-1.” — Ken Citron, Chief Executive Officer, Julien’s Auctions

The estimate for the Infinity Gauntlet is available privately on request, and bidding will require pre-approval from Julien’s Auctions. Approved bidders may participate in person at Rosewood Abu Dhabi, by telephone, or by absentee bid. Prospective bidders are encouraged to contact Julien’s Auctions early to discuss the lot and begin the approval process.
